To promote collaboration among New York University alumni and showcase their talent to the industry at large, the Tisch West Alumni Council and Writers Lab West created the Web Series Showcase.

Lauren Spielberg '99 (BFA, Kanbar, DDW)

After five years on the west coast, Lauren considers herself a reluctant transplant. She currently works at a big-time advertising agency but doesn't let that go to her head. Mostly because they won't let her.

She's also worked as a production assistant on The Sopranos, spent five years editing and writing at a nationally distributed book review magazine and has tried her hand at marketing at Fox Cable Networks. Rupert Murdoch still isn't returning her phone calls.
