Welcome to Writers Lab West
Writers Lab West is a non-profit NYU Alumni group under the aegis of the Tisch West Alumni Council.
The mission of Writers Lab West is to foster the artistic excellence of NYU Alumni in the Los Angeles entertainment industry and to celebrate their continued achievements. Focusing on the art of writing, our goal is to create a community that both promotes internal collaboration and helps our members integrate into the professional landscape.
Who Can Join Writers Lab West?
All alumni of New York University are welcome! While most of our membership made up of alumni from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, we welcome all alums who share our interests of furthering the careers of NYU writers. We have actors, directors, editors and others who are active in our programming. You don't even have to live in Los Angeles. (Although it helps, since most of our programming is in the LA area.)

Getting Started with the Wiki
The Community Portal is open to all. The Current Events section is restricted to board members. If you are a board member who does not have an account yet, please contact the webmaster to set one up.

WLW Board Information
The WLW Board is composed entirely of volunteers who meet on a monthly basis to plan programming. Each board member is expected take the lead running one program.
